Summer Wedding at Lake McDonald In Glacier National Park
June in Glacier National Park is gorgeous, from the temperature to the natural colors of the trees and mountains. For this intimate wedding ceremony, Lake McDonald served as the perfect backdrop. With the Going-to-the-Sun Road not yet open for the season, we focused our day on the park’s west side. I took Lindsey and Aaron to some stunning areas of the park that can be overlooked that you’d definitely want to attend when visiting Glacier National Park.
The bride was escorted by her son, walking down the trail “aisle” while an acoustic guitar played. After their Lake McDonald ceremony, we traveled to additional locations to capture as much of Glacier as possible, before they returned to their lodging to celebrate further with friends and family. They hosted an intimate dinner to celebrate this new commitment they made to one another. All in all, it brought me so much joy to capture this moment for Lindsey and Aaron. After delivering their gallery, I was so happy to see the love and excitement shine through in each photo! It’s weddings like these that remind me why I love photography!
