While the majority of my work consists of adventure elopements, (which I love as they feed my soul); I can say with confidence, that Maternity Sessions are restorative! They breathe new life into my work and inspire my creativity. I truly love working with women and documenting them in a season of life that is both beautiful and challenging.

I love babies… LOVE THEM! I’ve had 4. And while I did not enjoy being pregnant (because I had all the issues and complications), I was honored for the experience and treasured every flutter, kick, hiccup, and heartbeat. Pregnancy absolutely takes its toll, even with the smoothest pregnancy, but it is also so empowering! With every maternity session, it is my goal to capture the strength of women and the unapologetic boldness of motherhood with my images.

I love maternity photography and meeting so many amazing women who want images to reflect on their journey into motherhood and show the courage and fortitude required to carry and protect the life within.

I know firsthand that as pregnancy progresses and we begin to get more uncomfortable, it can be hard to want to get dressed up and get in front of a camera. Sometimes we don’t feel well, sometimes we don’t feel beautiful, and sometimes we just don’t know if the effort to take pictures is worth it. But trust me…. It absolutely is. I have women tell me all the time they regret that they don’t have more photos from when they were carrying their babies. On another note, I have had more than one maternity client show up and mention they are uncomfortable in front of the camera, and they don’t feel very “pretty.” But after their session and they receive their galleries they rave about how much they love the images and how special the entire experience was.

I want to help women feel beautiful and empowered with all the changes they go through and encourage them to embrace the incredible journey of pregnancy.

I have several beautiful client closet gowns and skirts available for my maternity session clients. I also work with a talented hair and makeup artists, for clients who want a little something “extra”.
